My friend Natalie made some gorgeous pom poms for her wedding (pictured top and below) and when I visited her the other day, I asked her to show me how to make them so I could do some for a party I’m having soon.
Here’s my two-tone effort (below). It really is simple to do. So simple in fact, even I can do it. I’m planning to make lots more too.
So I’ve just got my hands on my first caravan and am setting about doing it up. As you may know, I work at Practical Caravan magazine and this means I do spend a lot of time in a caravan so it figures I want to make mine as homely as possible.
This weekend, I was in Devon for our Reader Rally and before the major work starts on the van (wallpaper, upholstery, curtains, painting), I filled it full of blankets, stuff and…dogs.
Here’s some photos of it. Hope you like it! I’ve been buying rather a lot of stuff for it!
I’m of the persuasion that if you’re going to be a fashion designer, you might as well go for it and that’s certainly what MaryMe-JimmyPaul does! Love the feathers on this outfit and the crazy colours. The hat is a bit like a synchronised swimmer’s cap but not sure how the feathers would fare in the water…
