Do it like a snood

Beki at Where’s Me Jumper directed me to the work of Louise Dungate and I have to say I love this massive scarf (worn here like a snood) made from 100% merino wool. It’s called The Godfather so not to be messed with.

Louise loves knitting and fully embraces the make-do-and-mend ethos saying that she loves ‘the stories of how my grandmother Nancy and great aunt Betty learnt to knit at school and would knit socks for the soldiers. On Fridays, they would have to bring in something holey from home to mend.’
